Kaitlyn did a great job in her dance recital, minus the major nervousness. She loved dance this year and can't wait to do it next year. She was in a class with a bunch of the neighbor girls and she really liked doing it with them. We had Hayley and Makayla there watching and that made Kaitlyn's day. At first Hayley wasn't coming, but as soon as we found out she was I told Kaitlyn and she said "mom if Hayley is coming to watch I am going to be really brave." And brave she was. She even waved at us in the middle of her dance, and didn't miss a step. She was so proud of herself for doing it. While getting ready Melanie decided she needed makeup on too, I didn't get to her fast enough she already had the lip sick all over her lips. What a girly girl she is.

What princess am I?
I saw this on Amanda's blog awhile ago and having two girls who absolutly adore all of the princesses I just had to find out which one I was. So I got on took the quiz and found out I was Pocahontas. well one of my darling little kids distracted me and I never got a chance to post it. So today I went back to it and took it again. I do have to say Kaitlyn would be much more pleased with my match today. Today I was Ariel, Kaitlyn's favorite princess ever, well at least for the moment.
You Are Ariel!

Headstrong and fiesty. You have a mind of your own that's full of romantic dreams about the world around you. Exploring exotic places is your ultimate dream, and although you can be a little naive you'll realize that there is something to be gained from your family's wisdom.

Memorial Day Weekend!
So for Memorial Day Weekend, I ended up down in AF helping my mom recover from surgery. Brad decided to take the kids to his moms for the weekend and get some extra help, since he would have the kids all alone for the whole weekend. They celebrated in good fashion even without me. Ever since Brad and I have been married we have always gone and done flowers at the graves with his parents, so that is exactly what they did on Saturday. This has got to be one of my favorite memories as a child and I hope my children have similar memories. It was especially fun because this year they got to do it all with some of their cousins. The girls favorite part has got to be watering all the flowers. They also enjoy seeing all the pinwheels. This year afterwords Kaitlyn had a ton of questions about death. Some of her questions were, "mom, do we go wet and mess when were dead?" "How come babies die?" (I am thinking the reason for this question is because we always walk through the baby part of the cemetery to get from Sharilyn's parents graves to Ross' grave.) She has been full of questions a lot lately. After the cemetery they headed to the park for a picnic lunch. I think that the whale springy thing was the biggest hit there.
