Freaky Friday!

Kaitlyn's activity day group had mom and me freaky Friday party.  We all came if daughter and mother had switched places.  Kaitlyn had a lot of fun planning what we would each wear.  She had it all figures out.  

She had me decked out in Levi shorts, a character t-shirts, a headband, slap bracelet, her fake glasses and flip flops.  Right before we left I hurried and painted my nails, I don't know a day that Kaitlyn does not have her nails painted.  She had herself wear a black skirt, with a top that looks just like mom, flip flops and a necklace and beaded watch.  She really wanted to wear my wedding ring but I wouldn't let her.  

We had a lot of fun we ate pizza and soda and all sorts of yummy deserts.  We played a game with my purse and Kaitlyn's backpack where we had to find items in each others bag.  Then we had a runway show.  I at a great time with Kaitlyn and was glad that we could go just the two of us. 

Memorial Day!

We had a fantastic memorial day!  We went down the Salt Lake City and went to the graves with Grandpa and Grandma Hiatt.  Ellie and Will tagged along with us and made oh so much fun.  After putting the flowers on the graves grandma packed us a lunch and we sat at the cemetery and had a picnic.  Fun Times!

Julie's 40!

My sister Julie turned 40 this year.  Her husband asked me to help him with a surprise party!  He might have been a bit crazy since it was the week of black and white days but nonetheless he pulled it off.  Really he did most of the work.  He had everyone come down to Big J's the Sunday after her birthday, I let everyone in and then we all yelled surprise.  We all ate pizza soda, cake and had a great time.  He had a video that he made of her last 40 years.   Good job Dave that is going to be a tough one to top.

Soccer, Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn also played soccer this spring.  She had fun with it but decided it probably wasn't her thing.  She really didn't like all the running you had to do.  She enjoyed playing goalie and defense.  She was excited that she got to score a goal once though.

Jenna and Matt were the best cheerleaders they both had a lot of fun watching the girls at their soccer games! 

Richmond Black and White Parade!

This year the kids decided it would be fun to ride in the Big J's float in the parade this year.  They all had a lot of fun throwing candy and riding in the parade with their cousins!

Melanie had a lot of fun playing soccer this year.   She had chances to play forward, goalie, and defense.  She really enjoyed it especially the game that she got her goal in!

Kaitlyn's 2nd Grade Program

Kaitlyn's 2nd grade class put on a program for the parents at the end of the school year.  They sang and recited stories and poems to us.  She was so expressive the whole time and had a really fun time.  She has loved 2nd grade and I know she will miss Mrs. Chadwick.

Kindergarten Field Trip to Willow Park

Matt, Jenna and I were able to go with Melanie's class on their field trip to Willow Park.  We all had a lot of fun!  Seeing all the animals and feeding some ducks and fish!

Health Days

Health Day this year was a lot of fun!  Kaitlyn and Melanie rode in the parade with their Tavaci group while Matt, Dad, Jenna and I watched and got candy for everyone.  We went over to the park for a bit and saw all the booths and rode some rides and bounce houses.  That night we went out to the ball park to see the fireworks.  It was so cold and windy.  They ended up having to cancel them because of the strong winds.  Everyone was sad about that.  We had a great fun filled day though!
