We couldn't be more excited to have this baby come! I am due August 18th. We had our ultrasound last Friday and everything looks great. We were so glad to hear that everything is going good. I have been so sick, but with the whole herniated disc and pinched nerve pain I have had I think it has weakened it a bit. I am never sick this long, so that is really weird that I am still so sick at 20 weeks. The girls are so excited to get a little sister and well Matt is still getting use to the idea. He keeps saying that I have a baby girl in my stomach and then she says I have a baby boy in my breasts! He is having a hard time thinking that Melanie is going to move all her girl stuff in his bedroom. He has completely latched onto Brad lately too, so maybe he does know that he is his only ally in this family. We are so thrilled to have this baby in August and pray everyday that everything will go well!

ITS A BABY . . . .

Valentines Day!
Valentines was pretty low key with my back still out of commission. We still had fun though! We ordered Pizza and had a pizza party! Kaitlyn loves it when we let them eat the pizza downstairs while we watch a movie on the big screen!

Sisters Weekend!
The day of my birthday my sister was coming in town from Texas for our annual Sisters Weekend that we had planned for months. I was not going to let any amount of pain keep me away from this weekend.
I look forward to this weekend every year. We get together and Shop, shop some more, laugh lots and eat lots all with no kids! The pain put a bit of a damper on it this year, but we all still had a blast.
We started with pedicures at this amazing place. oh how I love their river rock massage. It would have been better had I been able to feel my right foot and leg, but it was still amazing!

Happy Birthday Kristi!
So with my back pain and all my birthday celebration was pretty low key. We as a family celebrated a day early up here. The day of my birthday my sister was coming in town from Texas and I was headed down to American Fork for our annual Sisters Weekend that we had planned for months, I was not going to let any amount of pain keep me from this weekend that I look forward to so much each year. We had Wingers Take Out, opened presents and had cake. I love how excited my kids get for my birthday.

I am alive again! (somewhat)
So I came home sicker than sick and with so much pain that protruded from my lower back all the way down my right side to my toes. I have NEVER been in so much pain in my whole life. I couldn't sleep at night, I couldn't concentrate long enough to read any books i barley could lay on the couch and somewhat enjoy a movie. It was a good month before I noticed even a little bit of improvement.
We have had so many thoughtful dinners brought in. These helped out so much! My mom ended up having to leave early one week for some other problems happening. She worked so hard to get everything done before she left. The only thing she hadn't had time to figure out was what we were going to eat for dinner. This was a night we didn't have scheduled to have dinner brought in. All of sudden there is a knock at the front door. There stands a neighbor with dinner in hand. She told us she just felt like she wanted to bring dinner tonight. little did she know that it was needed more than she knew. My mom was able to get other stuff done because she didn't have to worry about getting something ready for dinner.
