Last Thursday Kaitlyn had her first day of Kindergarten. She was excited, scared, happy, nervous, and very anxious. I dodn't think she really knew what to expect. When she got home she said, "Mom, I thought it was going to be terrible but it wasn't." I think she had a really good time. She was really excited about meeting new friends and being able to go to school everyday. I drove away and got all teared up after dropping her off. I don't really know why because to be honest I was really excited for having a little bit of a break each day. She's growing up way too fast and is such a great example to her brother and sister. Melanie was really sad that Kaitlyn got to start school and she couldn't go too. Melanie and Kaitlyn have played together now for 3 years everyday together, they are best friends and Melanie will really miss having her around in the mornings. Good thing pre-school starts next week.

It is way to weird that you have a kid in school....We are stinkin' old farts :)
Wow, Kristi- what a milestone- for YOU and Kaitlyn! I'm so glad that she had a good first day! I hope she has a great year!
So are you planning on 2 years of preschool for Melanie? I hope her first day goes well too! I did not start Leah in preschool this fall. We are doing a music class instead.
