I just love how kids can be entertained with the simplest things and best yet usually it does not cost a dime. Here are a couple of things we have been doing this winter to have fun!!
Cleaning our play car or rather cleaning anything with a hard surface with baby wipes.
This day we had a PJ day and cleaned up the whole basement, which was a chore because we had practically lived down there for two weeks while our bathrooms were somewhat remodeled.
We have gotten the wipes out plenty of times and it amazes me how long this will occupy all three of them.
A box, play hut, tree house and club! That is was that has been called so far. For Family night one Monday we made this hut our of my headboard box. It has definitely gotten a lot of use and abuse. The kids moved at least half of the toy room into it, which gave me the great idea to move it in there. And they are having even more fun with it in there. They have colored all over it and just had a ball with it. It will be a sad day when this has to make its way over to the recycle bin. But for now it has been a salvation this winter. Notice the club flag on the bar stool leg! Oh the joys to be a kid. This brought back great childhood memories of mine. Alan and I make some of the coolest forts and huts
