We lost our baby at 17 1/2 weeks. We found out on Friday that our baby's heart had stopped. Right then the doctors and nurses started Kristi on delivering her. About 42 hours later Kristi was done and all important decisions were made. Kristi is doing fine, still gets a little dizzy every so often but how can you blame her after losing a liter of blood during the whole process. I'm proud of her and how she has handled this experience. Our heart goes out to those who have had to experience this in their own lives. We are now much closer in our own family and are even more grateful for what we have. We are very appreciative to those who have helped, are helping, and have sent us their well wishes. Thank you!

Kristi, my heart is breaking for you! I love you guys. I know your mom is helping you out right now but when Dirk and I get back next week I am going to come see if the kids will play at my house to give you a break or maybe even the park! Get feeling better sweetie.

Oh, that is very sad news, I am so sorry to hear that! I too lost a baby (12 weeks), and it just changes everything. My heart goes out to your family, and I'll pray for your healing both physically and mentally.
