The Joys of My life!

I just love these kids way too much! They are all growing up way too fast. For journaling purposes I wanted to document some things they enjoy right now.

Kaitlyn is a preparing for baptism. I can't believe she is going to be 8. She is starting to have real fun conversations that can last into the late evening. She is so tender hearted and just loves being a big sister. She is doing so well at the piano and loves taking lessons. She also enjoys being a part of the singing group. She is perfectly content to stay home with boring mom and be here at home and I will take that as long as I can get it. She can hardly wait to come home and hug and love her baby sister! She loves a good joke! one of her favorite things to do is go to Gossners Cheese and get their milk boxes that have the jokes on them. They are almost always the same, but she still just laughs at them. She also loves a good knock knock joke and laffy taffy jokes!

Melanie is our social butterfly. She thinks she needs to play with friends everyday! She is growing up way too fast. I am not ready for her to be so grown up! She loves her singing class she takes with about 4 or 5 of her good friends. She absolutely loves her baby sister and can't get enough of her. She is way too confident in herself about the things she can do for Jenna. She will be a great mother one day! She loves to organize things. Call it weird, but it has its perks. she came and asked me the other day if she could clean out my desk drawer of course I let her do the much needed task. She hates it when others are sad and will do pretty much anything to help them not be sad. on multiple occasions Matt has been getting in trouble for doing Matt things and I look over and she is crying. When I ask her what is wrong she says, " I don't like it when others get in trouble." She too is growing up way too fast!

Matthew our only boy. He has to bring some boyness into our home right? Well with all his jumping and climbing, tackling and everything boy he is enough! Although I get frustrated with him a ton he is at a fun age. we get to spend every morning with him and I while Jenna takes a nap. We build lots of things with blocks and play lots of trains and cars! He loves Jenna a little too much. I have to watch him very carefully because he just loves to kiss and squeeze her, but who doesn't want to do that. He is growing up into a tall handsome toddler that everyone thinks is at least 5. He too is growing up way too fast!

Jenna is our baby and she is such a joy to have. Always smiling and putting up with all the passing around from brother to sister to sister! She is going to be one tough girl! We are loving her so much and can't get enough of her. We want her to stay small for a really long time! She is starting to show some personality lately and I think she is always going to be a joy to be around!

The other day The three older kids and I were driving out to my sisters house. Brad and Jenna stayed home to watch football. We got to the stoplight and Melanie says to me "Mom this is just like old times, you know before we had Jenna." I said, "It sure is,but I am really glad we have her." She then said. "Me too mom!"

I have ALWAYS admired you as a mother. How lucky your kids are to have you!

Such fun updates and descriptions of where your kids are in life right now. My oh my, I just want to squeeze that sweet little Jenna.

Hope to see you again soon. What are your holiday plans? Will you be in AF much? I might be there for a few days while my nieces/nephews are visiting. Haven't decided for sure yet.
