Melanie's Kindergarten class put on an opera this year. Their class opera was call "Are you a Horse" They based it on a book and then they decided what parts they would change from it. They wrote it, painted the scenery and then practiced it and then put the show on for the school and parents. Melanie had a main part in it as a cowgirl. Her teacher told me that there wouldn't have been an opera without her. She would sing out and there fore lead the other kids so they wouldn't be too scared to sing. She did a wonderful job and we are so proud of her.
Melanie thought this was the funniest part where at the end the horses ride the cowgirls.
