Funny Things Kids Say!

Had to get this documented before I forgot it.  Brad and I had a pretty good laugh this morning.

Kaitlyn:  Mom is it pioneer day today?

Mom:  No, it is on Sunday.

Kaitlyn:  Then how come the library is closed today.

Mom:  Because it is pioneer day weekend and they are closed all weekend long.

Kaitlyn: Oh

     Kaitlyn and I walk into the family room where Matt is.  He must have been listening to our whole conversation in the kitchen.

Matthew:  Mom are the pioneers coming to our house?

Kaitlyn:  No, they are extinct.

Matthew:  What is extinct.

Kaitlyn:  Matthew, they are dead but they were good people.

So now they are drawing pioneer pictures and Matthew just brought me a picture of a pioneer transformer wagon.

What would I do without my crazy kids, they are just so much fun.  Kids just say and do the craziest things!  This was a much needed laugh that I needed on a not so pleasant early morning.
