We were in the car for the whole day on Jenna's first birthday. We drove home from St. George. The kids kept saying, "Mom, Dad we are driving the whole state in one day! The poor girl hated being in the car all day, and I felt like the meanest mom making her be in the car all day on her birthday. Luckily we had some awesome grandparents that we stopped for a rest and both surprised Jenna with presents and cake!
Grandma and Grandpa Blakes was the first stop. They fed us a delicious dinner and had cake and presents. Jenna squealed and was so excited when she saw the balloons!
Then we were lucky enough to be able to stop at Grandpa and Grandma Hiatts too. She was all set with cupcakes and presents too. Jenna was really getting pretty good at this whole birthday thing by now.
She is full and content!!!!
She slept the rest of the way home!
