This year our ward Christmas party was focused on giving and we had a huge food drive for the food pantry. It was so amazing to see how giving our whole ward was. It was a part of Christmas that I could teach my kids about how fun it can be to give. It was so fun watching their smiles as they helped us carry in the food. We explained to them that we were giving some of our food to people who are less fortunate than we are. They seemed to grasp it at least a little. And they even kind of ate their dinners a little bit better for the following week. It was amazing how much food we collected. What a great party it was!
