Disneyland 2009 ~ Day 1 (Mothers Day)

Yes that is right I got to spend mothers day with my family on vacation. I couldn't have asked for a better mothers day. I love vacations and love to spend time as a family. We decided to go over to Disney and get our tickets all sorted out and let the kids ride the train and kind of just see Disney. It was not crowded at all so we decided to let them see a little bit of Toon Town while we were there. They were giving out flowers to all the mothers, my girls snagged one for themselves as well.

Brad, Melanie, and Kaitlyn on the train!

Kristi and Matt on the train!

Goofy was the first one we saw as we walked into Toon Town, the kids were so excited!

We then saw Pluto

Kaitlyn and Melanie

We were all so excited to see Minnie Mouse, especially Kaitlyn. Her house was the funnest house to play in.

We then headed from there to meet up with my cousin Susan at the beach for lunch. We had a fun time while there with her and Tom. It was so fun to see her. I wish we could have seen everyone we wanted to while we were in town.

Look at the pure excitement on Matt's face when he first saw the ocean.

Kaitlyn and Melanie loved it was as much!

They were all soaked head to toe when we left.

Since I didn't come very prepared for beach play this day, Melanie improvised and used the seaweed as a shovel and bucket. Man this occupied her and Matt for a very long time!

We then headed back to the condo to get ready for a fantastic Mothers day Dinner! Which was so wonderful because I didn't have to do a thing for it.

The kids all cleaned up and ready to go.

Matt and Brad at Mimi's Cafe where we had the most wonderful mothers day dinner, with no prep and no clean up. It was perfect!

We finished off the night back at Disney because we promised the kids we would go back and do a few rides that night. We walked onto so many rides it was great.
