Kaitlyn thinks that Aunt Lenna's and Ed's parties are the BEST!! Every year in August they do a BBQ for the August birthdays. Since Sharilyn's birthday is in August we are invited every year. Ed has a big blow up toy and he always brings out the chickens. This is a big highlight of the party. Not to mention the super yummo food and great company. I love it when these two families get together. Never a dull moment. Although it is one of the funnest things we do all year round according to Kaitlyn, she is still yet to hold or pet a chicken. one day, one day!

After the party Brad and I went opposite directions. I headed down to AF to see my parents (I had a drs. apt. and wedding during the week) Brad headed back home so he could be to work. To our surprise my uncle Steven had his super awesome jeep at my parents and took the kids for a ride. He was always the "fun" uncle growing up, he never disappoints. Brad was super jealous and is now even more ready to get his back in shape.
What a fun weekend! Sometimes I wish we could live closer to more family.

My kids love it when my dad takes them for a ride in his jeep. He has yet to let anyone drive it, but it does make for a fun ride! I am hoping someday he will let me and my sisters take it on a road trip1
