I can't believe I have a first grader. Kaitlyn started one week ago, she was so excited and nervous to start school. Her teacher is Mr. Menlove and she says he reminds her of Uncle Alan. She had been nervous all night and morning long, as we drove up she said to me, "Mom, I think I am getting excited." I was so glad to hear that come out of her mouth right as she was getting out of the car. I still drove away with tears in my eyes. We will miss her while she is at school all day long. She is one of my best babysitters for Matt and Melanie and her are best friends and play together everyday. I think their favorite things to play are polly pockets and the WII. She is really excited to have school lunch when "they have good stuff to eat" She loved the hot dog lunch the other day that is for sure. I am the worst mom ever and couldn't find the camera, so we took some pictures when she got home. Heres to an exciting year of first grade.
Mel is sure going to miss her, she insisted on wear twiner shirts that day.
Matt, wanted to go to school with her, he hardly took his back pack off the whole day.
