Seven short years ago Brad and I were married in the Manti Temple. It is weird for me to think that I now have a daughter around the same age that I was when I decided that I was going to be married in the Manti temple. Growing up my Grandpa and Grandma Burton were the Manti Temple President and Matron. I have so many fond memories of going to Manti and visiting them. The Manti Temple has a special place in my heart. About three weeks before I got married my Grandma Burton passed away. Though very sad that she had to leave, I was also very happy because now I knew that both my Grandpa and Grandma Burton could attend my wedding together. We were sealed by Elder Frandsen, a man that was called as a sealer by my Grandpa and the same man that my Grandma would always say looked just like my Great Grandpa Morgan. I can't believe that Brad and I have been married for seven years. We have been through some hard times and so many good times. And we can't wait for the many more good times to come!!!
Thanks to my great sister Julie we were able to go to lunch today with no kids. It was a lot of fun. The real celebration starts tomorrow because sweet Brad is taking the day off tomorrow and taking me shopping up in Park City. One of my most favorite things to do!!
My neighbor once told me to take pictures throughout the years so here you go. Here is a picture of us taken today at Cafe Sabor. Not the greatest picture of me, but what do you expect when your holding the camera taking the picture of yourself.
And here are some of our wedding pictures. So we were married before the whole digital thing was big and our scanner is broken, so I took a picture of our picture, for a comparison of back then and today. We were definitely both a lot skinnier back then.
Now this last picture of our rings I just had to add. About 3 years ago Brad lost his wedding ring, we were both devastated. I finally broke down this last February for Valentines day and bought him a new one. About two months later he
lost that one. Luckily I didn't spend nearly as much on that one. So today a UPS guy came to our door and Kaitlyn asks me "Mom what did the man in the brown truck bring?" I told her that it was dads new ring. She then said "Dad's on his third ring already?" So yes I broke down and got him another ring for our anniversary. I guess I wanted to claim him again. I gave it to him after the waitress at Cafe Sabor looked at Brad's hand and asked us if we needed separate checks? Obviously she thought we were not married. Hopefully he can hold onto this one. But if anyone needs to replace a husbands wedding ring overstock sales them the cheapest. I should know.

Happy Anniversary!
Tell Brad to hang on to his ring!
Wow, 7! I'd a be a little suspicious of a gambling problem if he loses this one! J/K
Happy Anniversary!! I love the wedding pictures. You look gorgeous in them! I can't believe Brad has lost his ring twice!!! Does he take it off a lot or does it slip off???
Kristi- Do you remember how I briefly caught your bouquet and then it slipped out of my hands splatting into a gazillion pieces on the floor? Your poor bouquet :( Luckily it didn't curse me! Happy 7th!
That's funny about Brad's ring...Good thing you don't spend lots of money on them, huh? Happy belated Anniversary
